Raquel studies Oriental Dance and its fusions since 2011, doing complementary studies on modern dance and other world dances.

She teaches Tribal Fusion Bellydance since 2014.

In the same year founded Aliqua - World Fusion Bellydance along with Sabina Ferreira and won the East Fest Lisbon competition group category in 2015. In addition, she joins the Obellycious PT collective that explores the connections between Oriental Dances and Urban Dances. Within this project she also taught workshops at Tribal Leauven 2016, in Belgium.

 

Today she’s member of the oriental fusion group “The Serpent Shadows“ which won the 2nd place at East Fest Lisbon Competition in 2017.  

Raquel also won the 3rd place at TribaLX Lisbon Festival 2017 as solo artist.
